A New Crop of Ultra-Luxury Homes Are About to Spring Up in Las Vegas – Robb Report

A-list actor and producer Mark Wahlberg is on a mission to turn Las Vegas into his very own Hollywood 2.0, and with the Sony movie studio about to break ground and the Golden Knights securing a national title, the need for high-end housing is only expected to increase. One local developer is fully on board and doubling down on the desert city’s potential. Landon Miller, a realtor and owner of Landon Miller Homes, has announced his firm is building a series of ultra-luxury residences to meet the pent-up demand created by an influx of wealthy buyers.

“Initiated by the approved plans for a Sony movie studio and the presence of the Las Vegas Raiders, Golden Knights, and other sports teams, the demand for ultra-luxury real estate is expected to surge,” explained Miller in a statement. “Having grown up in California, I’ve always been captivated by its luxury architectural styles. It’s my goal to mirror that level of architecture here.”

The first project in the Landon Miller pipeline is a $22.9 million estate in the Southern Highlands, an exclusive gated community surrounding the Southern Highlands Golf Club. The three-story manse measures a whopping 9,500 square feet and is decked out with floor-to-ceiling windows, cement-plastered walls, and pale wood accents. Among the highlights are a subterranean seven-car garage, a game room with a wet bar, a private gym, and a 750-bottle temperature-controlled wine cellar. There’s also a swimming pool out back and an elevated terrace that overlooks the Vegas skyline. According to Miller, construction on the project has already begun, and the home is expected to be completed by fall 2025.

“Despite Las Vegas’ rapid growth and renowned entertainment scene, the city has surprisingly few ultra-luxe homes,” said Miller. “As people relocate from Hollywood and other parts of the United States, they’re looking for an elevated level of luxury, and that’s what we’re striving to provide.” The Southern Highlands pad is just the first of a slew of $15 million-plus homes that Miller plans to design, construct, and sell throughout the valley. Each of the forthcoming abodes will offer a different architectural style and its own unique perks, so no two dwellings will be the same.

“There’s a growing trend towards fully customized homes, which I am quite excited about,” Miller added. “More and more, clients come to us with a desire to create homes that truly reflect their personal style and needs. I work hand in hand with our clients to make my vision and the client’s vision come true.”

Wahlberg isn’t the only famous resident to put down roots in Sin City. More recently, Raiders star Maxx Crosby dropped $5.6 million on a home in Las Vegas’s affluent Summerlin community. The defensive end’s new crib sports an indoor basketball court plus a resort-style pool. Oscar De La Hoya also nabbed himself a residence in Henderson back in 2022. However, following a custom renovation, the former boxing champ has put the mansion back on the market for a cool $20 million.
