LSI Cos., a prominent commercial real estate firm in Fort Myers, is moving its headquarters later this year.

The new 15,058-square-foot office will be at 8000 Summerlin Lakes Drive, about theree miles from the current space on International Center Boulevard.

Justin Thibaut, LSI’s president and CEO, says in an email that the firm has been in its office for about seven years and has outgrown the space.

“Since 2017 we’ve more than doubled our annual transaction volume and increased the team from 20 to 30,” he writes.

In a statement announcing the move, the firm says it has recently surpassed “a substantial company milestone … reaching a $1 billion pipeline of listed and contracted properties.”

The firm says it will move into the new space in September following a renovation.

The move is just the latest for LSI, which opened an office in Naples late last year staffed by three broker associates and a full administrative staff. The firm said at the time that the office was opened to serve its client base in Collier County and as its interests in the area grow.

It also has an office in Punta Gorda.

LSI was founded in 2000 by Thibaut’s father, Randy. Justin joined the company in 2016 as the company’s director of sales and was named COO in 2019. He became president and partner in 2021.

Justin Thibaut bought the company and took over as its CEO in 2022.

Today, according to the statement, it is a full-service real estate brokerage and development firm which specializes in all aspects of site development — market and valuation; acquisition and disposition; due diligence evaluation; zoning and permitting; work-out projects; asset management; and appraisals.
