LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An arrest report released Tuesday detailed the sexual assault of a teen allegedly perpetrated by a Clark County School District janitor.

According to police documents, the 15-year-old victim told a school counselor that she had been sexually assaulted by Devyn Hudson, 27, who was a janitor at Canyon Springs High School in North Las Vegas. The counselor contacted police, according to the report, who interviewed the teen.

She told police that Hudson had been exchanging messages with her on Instagram, according to documents. The report says the teen had sent a message to Hudson, saying, “lol you make me feel good.”

“That’s good and I can make you feel a lot better in other ways,” Hudson replied, according to police documents.

“We’ll have to find out,” she responded according to the report, later adding, “I will keep a secret.”

“Let’s talk more in person but definitely keep a secret,” Hudson replied, documents indicate.

According to the report, on Feb. 29 at 2:26 p.m., the teen agreed to meet Hudson in the school’s hallway. Documents say Hudson told the girl to follow him to a classroom where there were no cameras. There, Hudson directed the teen to take off her jacket and sit at a desk, the report indicates, adding that Hudson then sat next to her and began to touch the back of her neck.

The report describes the encounter in graphic detail, as Hudson began touching the teen inappropriately. The girl told Hudson that she had to leave because her mother was there, but he grabbed her arm and forced her onto her knees, according to documents.

Hudson then exposed himself and attempted to force the teen into a sex act, the report stated, adding that when she refused to cooperate, he bent her over a desk. She attempted to get away, the document said, but Hudson removed and applied a condom before forcibly having sex with her.

Sometime later, Hudson removed the condom, threw it away, and emptied the trash, the arrest report said. Documents say he told the teen to wait before leaving the classroom. She said she did, and 10 minutes later, she headed to the parking lot, crying on the way.

About two hours after the initial exchange, the report indicates that Hudson sent the teen another message, saying, “Anytime I’m glad you enjoyed it and so did I lol” to which the girl replied, “Mmm.”

The girl told police that she had not been to school since the incident and that her family had traveled to Mexico for spring break.

During an interview documented in the arrest report, Hudson told police that the teen was his cousin’s girlfriend and that the girl had tried to kiss him, but he had refused. He initially denied sexual contact with the teen, according to the report, adding that she was just trying to get him in trouble.

When shown the Instagram messages, Hudson admitted to having sex with the teen, adding that the encounter was consensual and initiated by the girl. The report said he recounted the event in graphic detail, with some details differing from the teen’s, including Hudson denying having vaginal sex with the teen.

Hudson was arrested Monday and is being held at the City of North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center. He faces charges of sexual assault against a child younger than 16, attempted sexual assault against a child younger than 16, and committing a lewd act committed by a person over 18 with a child of 14 or 15 years of age. He is due in court on Wednesday.
