Las Vegas saw more international visitors and a higher rate of satisfaction last year, according to a new tourism study.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority on Tuesday received the 2023 Visitor Profile, an annual study meant to understand tourism and travel sentiments.

About 87% of visitors responded that they were “very satisfied” with their visit, the report states. That’s up from 77% in 2022.

Non-gaming spending was up across most categories, including lodging, dining, shopping, sightseeing and local transportation.

Twelve percent of visitors came from outside the U.S., up from 9% in the previous year and well above the 3% reported in 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Six percent said they attended a sporting event, on par with what was reported in 2022.
