JPMorgan Chase announced on March 1 that it is expanding its footprint in Las Vegas by opening a new office at 1980 Festival Plaza Dr. Suite #800, with the Private Bank and Commercial Banking teams co-locating to best serve clients’ banking and financial needs.

“We’re thrilled to plant this stake in Las Vegas and demonstrate our deep commitment to our clients in Nevada,” said David Garcia, executive director and head of Las Vegas for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. “Nevada continues to experience population growth attracting individuals, families and companies by its tax and business friendly climate. We have a tremendous amount of confidence in the strength of Nevada’s economy and we plan to be here through the current environment and beyond.”

The 6,000+ square foot space offers a welcoming, modern environment designed to highlight the mountain landscape and vibrant culture of Las Vegas with additional room to accommodate employee growth. Now in the heart of Summerlin, the office’s brand new client center provides a dedicated space that both the Private Bank and Commercial Banking teams use to host clients and their families for personal wealth discussions, curated events, and business meetings.

J.P. Morgan Private Bank entered Las Vegas in 2020 and has tripled in headcount under the leadership of David Garcia, Head of Nevada for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Garcia’s career in financial services has spanned almost 20 years with experience across investment banking, commercial lending, and wealth management. Today he leads a team of integrated specialists who oversee more than $4 billion in total client assets who are building relationships to help clients plan, invest, borrow, and bank as they achieve their personal wealth goals.

JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking entered Las Vegas in 2017 and has since doubled in size. The banking team delivers the firm’s global capabilities to support local companies at every stage of growth through credit and financing, digital banking and payments solutions, treasury and merchant services and international banking. Today, the team serves businesses from early stage startups to midsize companies across a wide-range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, technology, disruptive commerce, gaming equipment, food service, professional sectors and multinational companies.

“This milestone strengthens our position to provide a best-in-class experience and bring greater value to the local business community as we help business leaders to manage their unique banking and financial needs,” said Michael Woodfield, Southern Nevada market executive for Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries at JPMorgan Chase. “As individuals and as a team who lives and works in the region, we want to drive impact in the local community, and this co-location is one way to help achieve that.”

JPMorgan Chase serves clients across Nevada through its private, commercial, investment and retail bank. Since JPMorgan Chase’s acquisition of Washington Mutual in 2009, the Firm has opened nearly 60 Chase branches across the state and currently serves about 700,000 consumer customers and 65,000 large and small businesses.
