Janitor accused of sexually assaulting minor at North Las Vegas high school: police – KLAS – 8 News Now

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police arrested a Clark County School District janitor on charges including sexual assault of a minor under the age of 16, according to North Las Vegas police.

On Monday CCSDPD contacted North Las Vegas police after learning of a possible sexual assault involving a minor at a North Las Vegas high school.

Detectives identified and arrested 27-year-old Devyn Hudson on charges of sexual assault of a minor under the age of 16, attempted sexual assault of a minor under the age of 16, and lewdness with a minor under the age of 16.

Hudson has been employed by CCSD since December 2015 as a janitor at Canyon Springs High School.

The sexual assault is believed to have occurred at the school.

Another CCSD staff member, Joshua Herrera, 28, was arrested Monday on charges of contact or attempted contact of a minor by a person of authority for the purpose of sex, and two charges of school employee engaging in sexual conduct with a person 16 or older, records showed.
