Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The median price for a pre-existing single-family home inched up in June to $475,000, according to new figures released Tuesday by Las Vegas Realtors.

The $475,000 was a jump of $2,000 from May’s figure.

The average price of a condo or townhome was $295,000.

At the halfway point of the year, median home prices are up 7.7% from 2023, with condos and townhomes up 7.3%.

High interest rates continue to be a concern, scaring off buyers, while making sellers looking to move hesitant about putting their house on the market.

Overall, though, 2024 numbers are much better than 2023’s, which was the slowest year for home sales since the Great Recession hit in 2008.
