Former MLB outfielder Jose Canseco is trying to sell his luxurious Las Vegas property for $1.6 million.

The five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home is in an upscale, gated community and features over 5,100 square feet.

The residence last changed hands in 2021, when the baseball icon purchased it for $1.1 million. Canseco put it back on the market in September 2023 for $1.7 million and cut the price by $100,000 a month later. Six months later, the home is still available.

According to the listing details, Canseco spent over $220,000 renovating the property, which is a short drive from downtown Las Vegas. In August 2023, he also put his car wash business in Vegas up for sale. That business is still operating under his name but has garnered just two measly stars on Yelp.

Canseco, 59, made his big-league debut with the Oakland Athletics in 1985 and became the first player to hit 40 home runs and steal 40 bases in the same season—1988. In 1992, he was traded to the Texas Rangers and went on to play for five other teams in his 17-year career. He’s a two-time World Series champion, six-time All-Star, and 1988 AL MVP.
